Posted in Current Projects on June 25, 2010 by celsiusentertainment

FIVE HOURS FROM PARIS was released in France June 23 on 39 screens. It was designated ‘DECOUVERTE UGC’ by the exhibition chain UGC.

However, the film was temporarily banned by the Utopia Cinema Chain in response to the attack of a Turkish ship by the Israeli army on the 31st of May – but there was a tremendous backlash from politicians, actors and producers. They finally decided to release the film and will play it mid-July.

“The most controversial romantic comedy of the year.” Le Monde

“A boycott… for a love story.” Le Parisien

“French minister of the Culture supports the movie, and protests against
its boycott. “
Le Figaro
